Unless there would be a scientific or technological breakthrough of some sort, we would all probably be dead in a hundred fifty years or so.
Our posterity would be talking about their ancestors - us and those who have gone before us, the same way we are talking about the departed. We could easily become names etched on a piece of stone, often with a few words fondly dedicated to conjure the possibility of a happy memory.
Or we could leave a legacy of some sort, considering a single life is what we all have to live - at this moment, at least. All before we become just another addition to a statistic.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did."
